Induction Programme - SRM Arts and Science College

SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur conducted the Induction Programme for its first-year students on 12th July 2023 at Dr. T. P. Ganesan Auditorium. Chief Guest of the Programme Dr. M. Ravi IPS, Former DGP and Commissioner of Police, addressed the students on the importance of setting goals, putting hard work in chasing them down, and every graduate’s responsibility to serve the Nation and care for their Parents. Mr. P.K. Janarthanan, Managing Director - Sri Mahalakshmi Groups, Villupuram addressed the students about being self-disciplined and optimistic in life. He further advised them to develop their communication skills and keep learning new technologies. Dr. S. Ramachandran, Director-Academics spoke about the need to utilize the available sources for successful careers and make things happen for themselves.  Dr. R. Vasudevaraj, the Principal of the College presided over the programme. Prof. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal introduced the Chief Guests. Dr. O. V. Ravikumar, Head, Department of Microbiology delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. J. Saravanan, Head of the Department of Management Studies.
