Kia unveils the Most Evolved, Safest, and Smartest Seltos in India
Chennai: Kia, India's leading mass premium carmaker, is ready to grow the premium RV segment with the most anticipated launch of its latest innovation, the New Seltos. Designed for the always-on-the-go new-age customers, the New Seltos delivers a power-packed, smarter, and safer driving experience, accentuated by stunning exteriors and all-new interiors.
Seltos is one of the biggest brands for Kia Corporation with 1 out of every 10 Kia cars sold globally being a Seltos. The new Seltos will grow the mid-SUV segment by reinventing and revamping it with its best-in-segment features and stunning design. Seltos brand currently contributes 55% to Kia India’s overall sales.
Building on this success, Kia India also unveiled a new transformation journey – Kia 2.0. Under Kia 2.0, the company has set ambitious targets, including attaining a 10% market share, doubling the existing network of touchpoints from 300+ to 600+, and growing RV leadership with new innovative products. These initiatives demonstrate Kia's commitment to expansion, customer satisfaction, and market leadership.
The new Seltos comes equipped with the most evolved and segment-best Level 2 ADAS with 17 features, which comes only in super premium cars like EV6 in India. Combined with additional 15 Robust safety features (Standard across the range), the new Seltos boasts a remarkable 32 safety features, setting a new benchmark for safety in the segment. Powered by an efficient Smartstream G1.5 T-GDi Petrol engine, generating a commanding 160ps of power and 253 Nm of Torque, Kia India now offers the most powerful engine in the rapidly growing mid-SUV segment.
The New Seltos is equipped with many segment-leading features such as Dual Screen Panoramic Display with 26.04 cm Fully Digital Cluster & 26.03 cm HD Touchscreen Navigation, Dual Zone Fully Automatic Air Conditioner, and R18 46.20 cm Crystal Cut Glossy Black Alloy Wheels. Kia has also included the much-awaited Dual Pane Panoramic Sunroof and Electric Parking Brake in the new Seltos, making it the most compelling value proposition. With a muscular and sportier look, the crown jewel LED Headlamps and LED Connected tail lamps are powered by the Kia Signature Star map lighting concept.
