Fortis Malar Hospital forms a grand human chain to celebrate International Nurses Day


Chennai, 12 May 2023: The nursing department of Fortis Malar Hospital, Adyar today formed a human chain to celebrate International Nurses Day and pay tribute to nurses who have always been on the forefront to duly perform their responsibilities with care, commitment, dedication, compassion, and kindness. The hospital's staff actively took part in the formation of the human chain and encouraged people to pursue healthy lifestyle and maintain good health. Different activities including poster making, quizzes, dances, and games were also held as part of the celebration. 

Mr. R Chandrasekar, Facility Director, Fortis Malar Hospital, Adyar said, “Our nurses are our lifeline, and this was demonstrated during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic. Through their unwavering dedication, professionalism, bravery, and heroic deeds, nurses have saved countless lives throughout the pandemic in our nation and around the globe, and they continue to do so on a daily basis. Frontline nurses' physical and emotional health suffered greatly because of the pandemic, yet they didn't give up. We would like to take this occasion to express our gratitude to the nursing community for their unwavering dedication to the healthcare system and society.”

Over 35 Colleges Unite for a Vibrant Cultural Celebration: Sardar Euphoria 2K23 Hosted by A.M. Jain College

Chennai, 08th Oct 2023:  A.M. Jain College in Meenambakkam, Chennai proudly hosted their Annual Inter-Collegiate cultural fest, Sardar Euphoria 2K23  on October 06th and 07th, 2023. The two day inter-collegiate cultural event witnessed active participation from over 35 prominent colleges across Chennai engaging in 16+ diverse on-stage and off-stage activities including dance, music, fashion walk, photography and more.  The highly sought-after overall trophy was clinched by Madras Christian College. Cultural festival 'Kalaisangamam' celebrated at A. M. Jain College

Chennai; Agurchand Manmull Jain College in Meenambakkam, Chennai celebrated their intra college cultural festival, Kalaisangamam on 11th of March.  Many students from various departments participated in the cultural fest which included music, dance and variety. College Secretary, Mr. Udhan Kumar Chordia with the committee member Mr. Panna Lal Chordia, Mr. Bhavnesh Deora, College Principal Dr. M. Venkataramanan and Dean Dr. M.M Ramya were the chief guest of the event.  Around 5,000 people including students and staff attended the cultural fest.
