Sundaram Finance opens its first all-women branch in Chennai


Sundaram Finance, one of the leading NBFCs in the country is making strides towards diversity, equity and inclusion with the opening of all-women branches to deliver its unique Sundaram experience to its customers. The company opened its first all-women branch in Chennai in Valasaravakkam, making it the second branch in India following .one at Koramangala, Bangalore a few months ago.


The Chennai branch proposes to be a hub for financial advice and service for women. It is structured as a service centre where women can walk in with their financial investments and seek advice on their performance, nominations, transmissions, restructuring and financial planning among others.

This exclusive women’s team will extend its services across all products - deposits, bonds, insurance, health policies, mutual funds and Demats. Various AMCs and insurance companies are joining hands with Sundaram Finance in committing their resources for this financial awareness drive. Plans are afoot to have weekly special financial education programmes for women by various experts on a wide variety of topics such as loans, investments and insurance. Webinars with subject matter experts for subscribing members are also on the cards. Overall, financial independence and wellness are key focus areas that the branch seeks to address during its campaigns. This branch will also be a focal point for upskilling, empowerment, development of women through periodic training and knowledge sharing in the financial services sphere.

Over 35 Colleges Unite for a Vibrant Cultural Celebration: Sardar Euphoria 2K23 Hosted by A.M. Jain College

Cultural festival 'Kalaisangamam' celebrated at A. M. Jain College

Chennai; Agurchand Manmull Jain College in Meenambakkam, Chennai celebrated their intra college cultural festival, Kalaisangamam on 11th of March.  Many students from various departments participated in the cultural fest which included music, dance and variety. College Secretary, Mr. Udhan Kumar Chordia with the committee member Mr. Panna Lal Chordia, Mr. Bhavnesh Deora, College Principal Dr. M. Venkataramanan and Dean Dr. M.M Ramya were the chief guest of the event.  Around 5,000 people including students and staff attended the cultural fest.
