HelpAge India organises Residential Training Programme for Dementia Care/ Management


HelpAge India Regional Resource and Training Centre, Tamil Nadu in collaboration with Centre for Ageing, Madras School of Social Work, organized a 3 Day Residential Training Programme for Dementia Care/ Management at Madras School of Social Work, Egmore from 9 – 11 March, 2023.

More than 40 NGO functionaries from Old Age Homes from across Tamil Nadu participated. The session was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Tmt. D. Rathna I.A.S., Director – Social Welfare and Women Empowerment, Tamil Nadu. 

Other noted guests were Dr. R. Sathianathan, Former Director, Institute of Mental Health, Chennai (Guest of Honour), Dr. S. Raja Samuel, Principal, Madras School of Social Work, Chennai and Mr. V. Sivakumar, State Head – Tamil Nadu, HelpAge India (special guests).
